Course Information

Liminal Space Training is conducting interviews for our upcoming Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, focusing on attachment and Child Development (starting in October 2024).

This course is for qualified practitioners keen to develop their knowledge and skills in working with more complex issues over longer periods with clients in independent practice.

This course is ideal for established practitioners who want to develop their skills in these areas or for newly qualified practitioners wishing to specialise in working at psychotherapeutic depth.

There is a focus on attachment theory, child development, and attachment and developmental wounds.

 Course Content

  • Course Fees 2024-25: £1,850

    Deposit Required on booking: £410

    Fees can be paid upfront or in monthly instalments.

  • All sessions will take place 9:30am-4:45pm

  • This course will take place at Victoria Hall, Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, RG27 8RQ

  • Students applying to this course must be qualified counsellors/ psychotherapists, holding full membership with a PSA accredited professional body (e.g., BACP, NCPS, UKCP, etc.).

    Students must also be in a sufficiently emotionally stable and positive place within which to safely explore and challenge their own reactions/thoughts and self-awareness within a group setting.

    Students must demonstrate a commitment to understanding and engaging with therapeutic processes and theories in an open and encouraging manner.

    Entry onto this qualification is subject to interview with a Liminal Space tutor.

  • Ongoing Clinical Supervision

    Appropriate Insurance

    60hr Client Hours accrued in independent practice needed to pass the course

    40hrs personal therapy required before issuing certification.
