This course is for qualified practitioners keen to develop their knowledge and skills in working with more complex issues over longer periods with clients in independent practice.
This course is ideal for established practitioners who want to develop their skills in these areas or for newly qualified practitioners wishing to specialise in working at psychotherapeutic depth.
There is a focus on attachment theory, child development, and attachment and developmental wounds.

This course will take place online via Zoom for seven of the ten weekends and will take place in-person for the first, middle and last weekend.
The in-person venue is in the process of being confirmed, but will be located in North Hampshire/Surrey.

Students applying to this course must be qualified counsellors/ psychotherapists, holding full membership with a PSA accredited professional body (e.g., BACP, NCPS, UKCP, etc.).
Applicants must have accured at least 40hrs of personal therapy during their qualifying training or since.
Students must also be in a sufficiently emotionally stable and positive place within which to safely explore and challenge their own reactions/thoughts and self-awareness within a group setting.
Students must demonstrate a commitment to understanding and engaging with therapeutic processes and theories in an open and encouraging manner.
Entry onto this qualification is subject to interview with a Liminal Space tutor.

In addition to the academic requirements of this course, students must meet the following criteria by the end of the course to be certified:
Engage in ongoing Clinical Supervision
Hold Appropriate Insurance
Accrue a minimum of 60hr Client Hours in independent practice during the course
Accrue a minimum of 30hrs personal therapy during the course required
