Course Information

This course is for qualified practitioners keen to develop their knowledge and skills in working with more complex issues over longer periods with clients in independent practice.

This course is ideal for established practitioners who want to develop their skills in these areas or for newly qualified practitioners wishing to specialise in working at psychotherapeutic depth.

There is a focus on attachment theory, child development, and attachment and developmental wounds.

 Course Content

  • Working with Clients Long Term

  • Working with Unconscious Process

  • Considerations for Working in Independent Practice

  • Developing your Personal Style as a Therapist

  • Advanced Relational Principles

  • Attuning to ‘Process’ Level of Relationship

  • Working Relationally

  • Ethics and Personal Philosophy in Private Practice

  • Anti-Oppressive Practice

Location

This course will take place online via Zoom for seven of the ten weekends and will take place in-person for the first, middle and last weekend.

In-person weekends will take place at Victoria Halls, in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire. Free Parking is available onsite.
